Eligibility to Become a Bank Clerk
You should fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the post :
AGE LIMIT |
The age must be between 20 Years to 28 years . |
AGE RELAXATION |
There are 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years age relaxation for OBC category. For Ex-Servicemen and Disabled Ex-Servicemen, the Actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 years ( 8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to max. age of 50 years. |
Educational Qualification |
The candidate applying for a clerk examination must have a Graduation degree from any stream from government recognized university. Only the valid mark sheet is considered. Besides , proficiency in the official language of the state and operational knowledge of computer are the prerequisites . |
Nationality / Citizenship |
Indian Citizenship is required . A subject of Nepal / Bhutan or the Tibetan Refugee who shifted to India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible . |
Besides the above criteria, a candidate must also not hold any criminal record while applying for the examination .
