SBI PO Recruitment 2024

Being the largest public sector bank in India, State Bank of India recruits new candidates through the following SBI bank exams every year . There are three stages in the selection process :

 1. Preliminary Examination (Conducted Online)

2. Main Examination (Conducted Online)

3. Group Discussion/ Personal Interview

The SBI Probationary Officer (PO) Exam. selects candidates for the management cadre of the bank.

The SBI PO exam. can be categorized into three stages :

SBI PO Preliminary Exam

It usually selects the candidates for the next stage of the exam. It retains about 2.8% of the total number of applicants for the SBI Mains examination .

SBI PO Main Exam

The SBI PO main exam. comprises of two sections :

SBI PO Exam Pattern

The SBI PO selection procedure is a 3-tier process. The written exam consists of Prelims & Mains which are conducted online, finally followed by Group Exercise & Personal Interview round. The structure of exams is as follows:

  1. SBI PO Prelims Exam. :This is conducted online . You are asked to solved SBI PO question paper of 100 marks . It consists of three sections :
  • English Language
  • Numerical Ability
  • Reasoning Ability
  1. SBI PO Mains Exam: This test comprises of 155 questions. The total duration is 3 hours.

The paper is classified into 4 sections :

  • Data Analysis & Interpretation
  • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude
  • General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness
  • English Language
  1. SBI PO Group Discussion and Personal Interview: This is the final stage of the SBI PO exam. Here the shortlisted candidates have a final face-to-face interaction with the interview panel of the respective bank.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria

SBI PO candidates must fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria before they sit for the exam:

  1. SBI PO Age Limit: An applicant must be at least 21 years of age and not more than 30 years as mentioned in the official notification.
  2. Educational Qualification: A candidate must be a graduate in any stream from a recognized university or have an equivalent degree/qualification which is recognized by the Central Government.

It is imperative to note that there is no fee refund once the amount has been paid, neither can it be utilized as a reserve for any other examination or selection process. SBI PO Results

The SBI PO Results are  declared on the official website of SBI .

The final cumulative score of the exam reflects the final list of selected candidates on merit basis.

They receive the appointment letter from SBI and confirmation of their deputation.

SBI PO Cut-Off

This is  the minimum marks that a candidate needs to score to meet the designated limit to be eligible to move to the next stage of selection.

SBI PO Exam Centers
